The work quality of a translator doesn't depend only on the knowledge of the start and target languages. Live in the countries where those languages are practiced, know their culture and have technical competence in other domains make a lot of difference in the final translation result.
I hold a dual Franco-Brazilian citizenship, I was born in Brazil and I lived for almost 20 years in France. Furthermore I studied in renown Universities in both countries. My professional experience is relatively dense and covers several domains. I worked in multinacional industries for more than a decade, as executive assistant and in the logistics and quality departments. I also held positions of responsibility in the associative field and public administration, having direct and daily contact with issues of legislation. My professional life was marked by project management in multicultural and multilingual environments. The first 50 years of my life are gone, but my dynamism, my passion for work well done and my curiosity aren't. Finishing my PHD degree I want to discover other countries, languages and cultures. Working as a translator is an amazing way to achieve this life project. In the attached file I higlhlighted the moments of my professional career where I did translations, interpretations, versions and other activities related to languages. There is more information about my career on the Lattes platform (http://lattes.cnpq.br/7347926049467796) and Linkedin (https://www.linkedin.com/in/marilane-carneiro-di-mario-99590817/).
