I am a freelance translator with over 11 years of academic and professional experience. I work with many agencies and individual clients from Europe and all around the World.

My working languages are Polish (native), English (IELTS band 8), and Italian (level B2). I'm a graduated musician as well as a translator and interpreter (BA in Italian Philology with Translation Specialisation; MA in Translation Studies) which makes music and art my areas of translation expertise. For my dissertation, I translated two opera librettos and adapted one of them for the stage.

During my professional career, I translated a wide range of texts, such as legal documents (marriage and birth certificates, court bundles, contracts), medical (mental health review letters, instructions for use, medical test results), social services (child protection), police (reports from Police Computer) and marketing (apps, articles, websites).

My experience as a Translation Manager in a prosperous translation agency (two years) has taught me the industry-specific requirements and allows me to understand my clients better.

I am also a semi-experienced Polish-English interpreter, with two years of professional experience mainly in the medical and legal sectors.

In the future, I'd love to get involved in the translation of novels and literary texts.
