The Antigen Map Project
The Antigen Map is the complete mapping of which T-cells bind to which antigens. If we knew nature’s map, we could read the story about what your T-cells are currently targeting or have targeted in the past. Although the scale of the complete map is enormous, using a combination of high-throughput sequencing, functional assays and cloud-scale machine learning, we are learning to decode that map for disease-specific antigens. As this map comes into focus, we will unlock a new approach to diagnosing disease based on reading your immune system.
Blood sample: 1 mL of blood contains about 1 million T-cells, each of which is genetically programmed to target a specific antigen your body is trying to control.
Immunosequencing: Adaptive’s immunoSEQ technology sequences the T cell receptor (TCR) gene that encodes each T-cell’s antigen specificity.
Machine learning: Microsoft is developing machine learning technologies that translate TCR sequences to the antigens they recognize.
Empowered care: Information about antigens your T-cells are actively targeting provides a basis for diagnosing cancers, infections and autoimmune diseases.
Learning to Decode the Immune System to Diagnose Disease
Adaptive recently published a proof of concept for this project (Emerson, et al. Nat Genet. 2017), demonstrating that shared TCRs can be used as a basis for diagnosing viral infection. Despite the enormous complexity of the immune response, the elegant simplicity of this approach shows how common immunological solutions to pathogens can be used to provide a window into what the immune system is actively targeting. In principle, this approach can be extended and augmented with antigen-specific binding data to provide diagnostics for cancers, infections and autoimmune diseases. Our aim is to sequence the T-cell repertoires of 25,000 individuals affected by one of the five specific diseases we are initially pursuing based on unmet clinical need and our understanding of the underlying immunology: Ovarian cancer, Pancreatic cancer, Type I diabetes, Celiac disease, Lyme disease.

Apple Card completely rethinks everything about the credit card.
It represents all the things Apple stands for. Like simplicity, transparency, and privacy.

No fees.
Not even hidden ones.
We want to make it easier to pay down your balance, not harder. So Apple Card doesn’t have any fees. No annual, over-the-limit, or late fees. No fees. Really. And our goal with Apple Card is to provide interest rates that are among the lowest in the industry.
The first credit card that actually encourages you to pay less interest.
Most credit card statements emphasize your minimum amount due. And if you pay just that, it costs you a lot in interest over time. Apple Card is different.
When you’re ready to make a payment, Apple Card estimates the interest you’ll wind up paying, based on any payment amount you choose. And it does that in real time, so you can make an informed decision about how much of your balance to pay down.
A new level of privacy and security.
Apple Card is designed to make sure you’re the only one who can use it. All the advanced security technologies of Apple Pay — Face ID, Touch ID, unique transaction codes — are built right in. And the physical card has no numbers. Not on the front. Not on the back. Which gives you a whole new level of security.
A card that’s materially different.
When you buy things with the Apple—designed titanium card, you get Daily Cash back on everything you buy. Mastercard is our global payment network, so you can use it all over the world. And for apps and websites that don’t take Apple Pay yet, there’s a virtual card number in the Wallet app that autofills for you when you’re using Safari.
To create a different kind of card, we worked with a different kind of partner.
Every credit card needs an issuing bank. To create Apple Card, we needed a partner that was up for the challenge of doing something bold and innovative. Enter Goldman Sachs. This is the first consumer credit card they’ve issued, so they were open to doing things in a whole new way.

THE FREESTYLE LIBRE SENSOR
The FreeStyle Libre sensor’s small size makes it discreet to wear. It is worn on the back of your upper arm and lasts for up to 14 days.
The sensor has a small, flexible tip that is inserted just under the skin.
Unlike traditional blood glucose monitoring, using the FreeStyle Libre sensor does not involve painful routine finger pricks. You can scan as many glucose readings as you want whilst the sensor is being worn – it even scans through clothes!
It continuously measures the glucose concentration in your interstitial fluid, and stores 8 hours of data. This means that for a complete glycaemic picture, you only need to scan once every 8 hours– enabling you to make more informed decisions about how you manage your diabetes.
The FreeStyle Libre sensor is water-resistant and can be worn on the back of your arm for up to 14 days whilst you shower, bathe, swim, exercise or play.
You do not need to calibrate the FreeStyle Libre sensor with a finger prick. As it is made by a process which means the sensitivity of the sensors vary very little - it is calibrated at the factory.
What'S The Difference Between Traditional Blood Glucose Testing And Flash Glucose Testing?
Finger prick blood glucose readings and sensor glucose readings won't always match and in fact are likely to be different. Sensor glucose reading come from the interstitial fluid (ISF), a thin layer of fluid that surrounds the cells of the tissue below your skin. There is a 5 to 10 minute delay in ISF glucose response to changes in blood glucose.

EverQuest has dozens of skills. The list of your skills are shown by going to the Inventory screen [Alt-O] and clicking the Skills button at the bottom left of the Inventory tab.
How a skill works depends on the skill. Some are triggered automatically, while others are used at the player's discretion. Also, some skills are very general and shared by all, while others are specific to certain races and classes.
In general, the more the character attempts to use a skill, the better he or she will become at it.
Abjuration: One of the several skills related to the art of magic, abjuration deals with defensive magic; for example, a spell that enables the character to take less damage from extreme cold.
Alcohol Tolerance: The ability to hold one's drink.
Alteration: Another of the several skills related to the art of magic, alteration deals with changing things, whether it is illusion or an actual physical change. An example would be a spell that teleports something, or that enables a character to move faster, or forces him or her to move more slowly.
Apply Poison: An ability that is limited to rogues, apply poison enables them to inflict even more damage to their foes after the initial strike. There are numerous steps to learn and perfect in order to use this skill effectively.
Archery: In addition to the skills dealing with melee combat, range weapons are also prevalent in the world. The skill of archery deals with a character's efficacy in using bows, crossbows, and other, similar devices.
Backstab: The rogue has many unique skills in his repertoire, including the ability to strike at his opponent from behind, often inflicting a great deal of damage in one blow.
