Born and raised in Germany, I studied law (focusing on EU,
International Criminal, Constitutional and Administrative law) and
music.

 

In Germany I worked for tech companies, housing associations as
well as a law firm.  After moving to the Republic of Ireland and then
the United Kingdom I have built up over ten years' experience in the
automobile industry and financial services. I have been involved in
translation and interpreting for various projects in marketing,
technology and law.

 

My expertise in technology is grounded on my training in Germany to
become a certified technician as well as further training in aviation.
I'm very confident with translations in mechanical and electrical
engineering as well as legal translations (contracts and EU and administrative law). 

I've worked on various civil engineering projects. I was responsible for a project of the development plan 

of a Berlin Building Exhibition 1998 to organise the public participation process assisting with the legal requirements.

I also do marketing translations with a strong emphasis on good localisation skills.

 

I'm very adept at subtitling as well as proof-reading.

 

I do not translate Swiss German.
