Spanish-English-Spanish Award winning Translator, Editor, Interpreter, and published author of Fiction Literature, with 10 years of proven experience as a freelancer for Penguin Random House, Oceano Editores, RBA (Spanish editors of National Geographic), and Circulo de Lectores (Barcelona, Spain), plus 2 years of in-house experience as an Interpreter and Translator for Durham Public Schools (NC, US), within their Exceptional Children Division, and for Fluent Language Solutions (NC, US), in the health-care/social services/legal fields.
I also worked as an Spanish Lecturer for a total of 9 years for Duke University, Clemson University, Utica College (US), and most recently for Durham University, King's College London and the London Business School (UK).
I am currently teaching Translation with THE PROFS LONDON, to Oxford University and University of Bristol tutees, and I won a Translation Award in 2015 (Corda Foundation, NY, US).
My Ph D is in "Teaching Languages and Literatures", and I have been conducting extensive research on Translation issues between one of my language pairs: English and Spanish.
