Source text - French pêcheur, pensait-il.
Le ciel était très bleu et le soleil un peu pâle. C’était en plein milieu de l’après-midi. Il n’y avait pas une âme en peine sur la plage, peut-être à cause du froid car c’était l’hiver. Un hiver de province. De bord de mer, ou d’océan plutôt. Avec une odeur d’algues dans l’air et des nuages très hauts dans le ciel qui défilaient en rangs serrés, en bandes fines et parallèles. L’océan allait et venait sans fureur. Il caressait la grève mélodieusement. La marée le poussait à se retirer. Bientôt, il serait loin.
Translation - Croatian Nebo je bilo veoma plavo, a sunce bljedunjavo. Bila je sredina popodneva. Nije bilo niti jedne izgubljene duše na plaži, možda zbog hladnoće jer je bila zima. Zima u provinciji. Uz obalu mora, odnosno oceana. S mirisom algi u zraku i oblacima koji su vrlo visoko na nebu prolazili u zbijenim redovima, u tankim usporednim trakama. Ocean se bez bijesa gibao amo-tamo. Blagozvučno je milovao žal. Morska struja tjerala ga je na uzmicanje. Uskoro će biti daleko.

I have a double master's degree in French and Spanish language and literature and I specialized in translation of both languages. Besides these two languages, I also learned Galician for three years and I have a CPE diploma in English (C2). My main focus and area of interest is audiovisual translation, mostly movies/series/videogames and e-commerce translation (fashion industry).
