Source text - Turkish XXX geleneği, yüzyılların deneyimlerinden süzülerek biçimlenmiş, belirli kuralları olan ve belirli ritüeller çerçevesinde gerçekleştirilen, halk şiirinin öğelerini kullanarak kuşaktan kuşağa sözlü olarak aktarılan bir gelenektir. XXX geleneğinin sürdürülmesinde merkez konuma sahip olan usta-çırak ilişkisi, geçmişten günümüze kadar yaşamış olan XXX arasında bilgi, görgü ve tecrübe iletimini sağlayan bir köprü vazifesi görmüştür. 2009 yılında U****O somut olmayan kültürel miras listesine giren ve binlerce yılı aşan bir geçmişe sahip olan XXX geleneği 20. yüzyılın ikinci yarısından bu yana usta-çırak ilişkisinin hızla azalması nedeniyle kaybolma tehlikesiyle karşı karşıyadır. Bugüne değin bu sözlü kültür mirasının gelecek kuşaklara, geleneksel usta-çırak yöntemi ile nasıl iletilebileceği konusunda çözüm odaklı bir araştırma yapılmamıştır.
Translation - English The XXX tradition, whittled down into its present shape through centuries of experience, and characterised by its own particular rules, is performed within the framework of certain rituals and is a tradition which has been transmitted orally from generation to generation by means of folkloric poetry. The master-apprentice relationship, central to the sustainability of the XXX tradition, serves the role of a bridge between past XXX to those living today by transmitting knowledge, custom and experience. The XXX tradition was designated part of the U***O Intangible Cultural Turkish Heritage List in 2009 as a consequence of its several thousand year history. However, the tradition is now in danger of dying out due to the rapid decline of the master-apprentice relationship, particularly in the second half of the 20th century. Up until now, solutions based research has not been conducted on how to transmit this oral cultural heritage to future generations by means of its traditional master-apprentice method.
