My background in university was in both East-Asian Studies and English studies. I have been translating for the past 12 years in various fields, including journal articles, local politics, academic publications, engineering, and more. 

Furthermore, I currently work for an automobile research institute in Japan specializing in automated safety, international standards, and journal publications.
