I am an experienced simultaneous legal interpreter, working predominantly in commercial dispute resolution in different fora (The High Court in London, and various international arbitration centres). I have worked on many high-value, high-profile cases, and enjoy an excellent reputation in the litigation/arbitration community in the UK and abroad. 

For the preceding 17 years I worked in-house for a boutique English law firm, interpreting at multi-billion contract negotiations, liaising between CEOs of international oil and gas majors and government officials (including ministers, prime ministers, and heads of state), and at dispute resolution. I also translated and managed a team of translators working on complex commercial agreements covering field development, pipeline transportation and marketing of hydrocarbons, tax settlement agreements, and many more. I have acquired not only a great deal of knowledge in all aspects of hydrocarbon production and marketing, the workings of Production Sharing Agreements, Taxation, etc, but also the invaluable experience of being, literally, the voice of decision-makers of geopolitical scale, privy to discussions that shaped the future of the industry.

My background is in science (MSc in Biology, University of St Petersburg) which helped me to develop a good knowledge of geoscience at the start of my professional career in 1997, where I worked in the Petroleum Engineering department of a JV in London as a technical translator/interpreter, facilitating communication between Russian and English-speaking engineers.
