English to Hungarian (Semmelweis University Institute of Languages for Specific Purposes, verified) Hungarian to English (Semmelweis University Institute of Languages for Specific Purposes, verified)
As a licensed pharmacist with a specialization in medical translation and interpretation, I combine my in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry with language expertise to deliver precise and reliable translations. My language pairs include Hungarian to English and English to Hungarian, and I am also working towards expanding my services to include German and Russian.
I hold a degree in Pharmacy from Semmelweis University and have worked extensively in pharmaceutical product labeling, including at Gedeon Richter Plc. and Sanofi Winthrop Industrie, where I managed the preparation and translation of product information, instructions for medical devices, and regulatory documentation. My technical background ensures that I fully understand the content I translate, allowing me to offer clients high-quality translations that are both accurate and compliant with industry standards.
During my translation studies, I had the chance to participate in the translation of the website of the European Association of Urology from English to Hungarian, concerning articles for patients. This team work helped me to obtain experience in website translation, translation of educational material for patients, and it could provide me with some insight to the terminology of urology.
I have been working as a freelance medical translator and interpreter since the beginning of 2024, offering flexible hours and services in Budapest and its surrounding areas. I am available for work on weekdays during the evenings and fully available on weekends. My passion for languages extends beyond my professional work. I continue to expand my language skills and have a deep interest in literary translation as well. When I’m not working, I enjoy aerial gymnastics, belly dancing, and singing.
If you’re looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable medical translator with a strong pharmaceutical background, feel free to reach out to me for your next project.
