Ritual is used to help focus our intent in order to bring about a change in either the world around us or our state of consciousness within. It is not the only way of achieving such changes but for many of us is the required physical link we need to make this happen. If you feel upon reading this book that you would rather enact these rituals on the inner planes, i.e. within the boundaries of your own imagination, or alter the rituals in any way then please feel free to do so. The important thing to remember is that it is the intent behind the ritual which provides and shapes the power and therefore this which needs above all other things to be clear and strong.

In einem Ritual konzentrieren wir uns auf eine bestimmte Absicht, die eine Veränderung in der Welt oder in uns selbst bewirken soll. Es ist nicht die einzige Möglichkeit, solche Veränderungen herbeizuführen, aber für viele von uns ist es durch seine konkrete Form nützlich. Wenn du beim Lesen dieses Buchs das Gefühl hast, du möchtest diese Rituale lieber nur innerlich, das heißt, nur in deiner Vorstellung durchführen, oder wenn du die Rituale verändern möchtest, steht dir das frei. Wichtig ist nur, daran zu denken, dass es die Absicht hinter dem Ritual ist, die diesem Macht verleiht, und deshalb muss vor allem die Absicht klar und deutlich sein.
