Allah cikin ikonsa kuwa a duren da ake kaunnala aikin mujallar a komfuta, sai aka sami lambar wayar Fati. Labar kawa ta zo a daldai lokacin da ake tunanin fitar da rai saboda daga cikin ma’aikatan na mu, babu wanda ya nemi cin damarar yin tsatsuwa ya tashi sama ya dira cikin birnin landan ba. Translation - Hausa MUTUAL RELATIONSHIP WITH SANI MAI ISKA IN LONDON
Concerning tongue wagging about dissolution of Fati Mohammed’s marriage with Mohammed Sani Mai Iska. Madubi staff lacked what to do to help matters. Fati and Sani’s wedding ceremony had been seen as a success in London due to mutual understanding which preceded the wedding came as a result of chatting and browsing in the internet, Fati’s telephone number was also obtained when every hope was almost lost even among our staff; the worldwide web has covered even where no one has ever anticipated. At a click of the mouse, Fati received the E-mail message sent to her in London at once. Fati spread the news of dissolution of her marriage in England between her and Sani all over Kano, could it be real?

Madubi: Is it true that your marriage is dissolved?
Fati: It is true, our marriage is no more. Let me be served with the divorce letter, we have parted ways.
Madubi: Okay, is it long you dissolved the marriage or just recently?
Fati: Yes, it is about one month and one week since the dissolution of the relationship.
Madubi: Did you part ways peacefully or you left due to fierce argument and quarrel?
Fati: You know secret between husband and wife is not a public affair for discussion. The marriage is just no more, parting ways has just come. God has allowed it. Our meeting was just enhanced by the society. But there was no ugly quarrel between us.
Madubi: Are your parents aware of your marital disengagement?
Fati: They know. I have communicated with them through telephone concerning my position in the relationship between me and my former husband. Let me further explain. Not long after leaving the shores of Nigeria, noise of protest from relatives filled the air that he has not studied me enough to warrant my freedom. Truly, the interactions in academic institutions should not be misinterpreted for marital unfaithfulness. And again, I am working here in England at a Children Care Centre (School). I have left my husband, and I can vouch for him that we got separated not because of anything but incompatibility.
My former husband, Sani is a worker, I think, a manager in one of the companies?
Madubi: My battle with your husband in a foreign land, you did not know the real job he was doing?
Fati: You know, when we arrived overseas, he changed from whom I used to know him. He tightened up his face, he did his business without consulting me and from then there was no more mutual relationship, though it is not compulsory for me to know everything about him. You know, in Hausa tradition, once a marriage is dissolved, the divorcee packs her bags and baggage and leaves the husband’s house.
Madubi: Now are you still together with your husband, Sani or has he completely abandoned you?
Fati: No, we are not together, we have left each other. He is apart there and I am free here.
Madubi: Are you the first to park your luggage and left the house for him, or is he the one who packed his things first and left you behind since you are the one who facilitated his trip to England?
Fati: Do you understand? It was the government that provided us with the accommodation. So, as our marriage has been dissolved, another place was provided for them.
Madubi: We have heard the rumour that if you return home, that you will continue with your film acting and home video production business. Is it true?
Fati: Yes, it is true, if I go home, I will continue with my business. People now know that we rest our faith in God. No body is happy with the dissolution of our marriage but since God has sanctioned it, when it comes, it is inevitable.
Madubi: But you are rated one among Kano Women of substance.
Fati: (Laughs) really, you mean it? Yes, I never said, at the time I was acting film that I was greater than other actresses. Even now, when I return back to Nigeria, I do not mean to throw others out of business.
Madubi: Have you fixed a date for your journey back to Kano?
Fati: I will return back to Kano by the end of next month (March) by God’s grace.
Madubi: Okay, when you return back, what next? Would you return to Sani (your husband) since you traveled to London together?
Fati: I would not know what may happen but if Sani decides to stay back, that is his own business because the authorities concerned already know we are no more husband and wife. For me, I will go back to Kano, now that my marriage is dissolved, there is no reason for me to reside in England without marriage, even Sani himself, I know he will also return back to Kano.
Madubi: Now, Fati, what are the things you have benefited from the marital relationship that you can easily tell people?
Fati: (Laughs). I have really gained a lot from the marriage but the most important is the education I was able to acquire during that time.
Madubi: What about the rumour concerning the pregnancy that you had last year, did you have a safe delivery of the child?
Fati: No, no, I had two pregnancy miscarriages while leaving with Sani. The first experience was when I become pregnant while in Nigeria and later lost it; the second one was here in England. God did not bless the relationship with any child and I left him.
Madubi: Okay, may God give you sustainable child.
Fati: (Laughs) you should rather pray for me to get a new husband with whom we can start reproducing children.
Madubi: Okay, may God grant you success.
Fati: Amen, may it be so.
Madubi: We shall bid you good bye at the air port.
Fati:(Laughs,laughs, laughs) till I come.
