Source text - English Innovation is a priority of all Member States and of the European Commission. Throughout Europe, hundreds of policy measures and support schemes aimed at innovation have been implemented or are under preparation. The diversity of these measures and schemes reflects the diversity of the framework conditions, cultural preferences and political priorities in the Member States. The ‘First Action Plan for Innovation in Europe’, launched by the European Commission in 1996, provided for the first time a common analytical and political framework for innovation policy in Europe.
Building upon the Action Plan, the Trend Chart on Innovation in Europe is a practical tool for innovation organisation and scheme managers in Europe. Run by the Innovation Policy Directorate of DG Enterprise and Industry, it pursues the collection, regular updating and analysis of information on innovation policies at national and European level.
The Trend Chart serves the “open policy co-ordination approach” laid down by the Lisbon Council in March 2000. It supports organisation and scheme managers in Europe with summarised and concise information and statistics on innovation policies, performances and trends in the European Union (EU). It is also a European forum for benchmarking and the exchange of good practices in the area of innovation policy.

주식회사 "A"(이하 "갑"이라 한다.) "B"(이하 "을"이라 한다)는 구매 기본 계약서에 의거 "을"이 "갑"에게 납품하는 물품에 대하여 다음과 같이 품질보증 협정 (이하 "본 협정"이라 한다)을 체결하고 이를 증명하기 위하여 본 협정서 2부를 작성, 기명 날인 후 1부씩 보관한다.

제 1 조 (기본정신)
본 협정은 "갑"과 "을" (이하 "당사자"라 한다)이 상호 신뢰와 성실을 바탕으로 한 협력관계를 구축, 고객 만족을 추구하는 품질 보증 체제를 발전시켜, 공동 책임 하에 제품 (부품)의 품질 안정을 기함으로써 소비자의 이익을 고려하고 당사자의 상호 이익과 발전의 도모함을 기본 정신으로 한다.
제 2 조 (품질보증책임)
① "을"은 "갑"으로부터 발주 받은 물품에 대해 일관된 품질보증체제를 확립하여 제조 공정 중 또는 완료 후 "갑"이 요구하는 품질과 신뢰성을 확보하도록 보증하여야 한다.
② "을"은 ①항의 품질보증에 있어 "을"이 구입하는 물품의 품질에 대해서도 책임을 져야 한다.
③ "갑"은 "을"의 품질보증체계 및 품질관리 상태를 평가 또는 감사하며, "을"의 품질보증체제가 발전되도록 지도, 지원한다.
④ "을"이 납품한 물품의 품질에 다음 각 호의 사유로 "갑"에게 끼친 손해에 대하여 "을"은 배상의 책임이 있다. 이때 "을"의 배상책임기간은 "을"이 납품한 물품의 최종 납품 일로부터 16개월(또는, 개월)이내로 한다. (단, 제품이 FIELD 출하 후 발생한 클레임은 상호 원인 파악 및 검토를 거쳐 을의 책임으로 규명될 경우 전적으로 갑의 결정에 따른다.)
가. "을"이 납품한 부품의 결함이 원인이 되어 "갑"의 생산공정 중 손실이 발생하거나, 완성 제품에 하자가 발생한 경우 그에 대한 손해
나. 본 협정과 관련하여 "을"의 외주업체가 "갑"에게 끼친 손해
⑤ "을"이 납품한 물품은 기본적으로 World Wide Warranty를 제공하는 것을 원칙으로 하되 상호 협의에 의해 조건을 변경 할 수 있다.(협의안 : )
제 3 조 (품질보증을 위한 실시사항)
① "을"은 품질보증 책임자 및 출하검사원을 선임하여 "갑"에게 그 명단을 통보하며, "갑"에게 통보된 품질보증 책임자 및 출하 검사원은 본 협정에 의한 "갑"과의 업무처리에 있어서 "을"을 대표한다.
② "을"은 ①항의 변경사항이 발생한 경우 이를 "갑"에게 즉시 통보하여야 한다.
Translation - English QUALITY GUARANTEE AGREEMENT
This Quality Guarantee Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “Agreement”) is entered into by and between A (hereinafter referred to as “A”) and B (hereinafter referred to as “B”), who collectively shall be referred to as the “Parties,” for the quality of the products B supplies to A under the following terms and conditions in compliance with the base contract for purchase. In witness thereof, both Parties sign and seal two copies of this Agreement and a copy kept by each party.
1. Main Objectives. The main objectives of this Agreement are to make considerations for customer interests, and achieve mutual benefit and prosperity of both parties by ensuring stability of quality of products (component parts) under joint responsibility through development of quality assurance system that pursues customer satisfaction by establishing a collaborated relationship founded on mutual trust and devotion.
2. Responsibilities for Quality Assurance
(a) Regarding products ordered by A, B shall, by establishing a coherent quality guarantee system, guarantee the quality and reliability requested by A during and after manufacturing process.
(b) Regarding quality guarantee of paragraph (a), B shall also be responsible for the quality of materials it purchases.
(c) A shall evaluate and inspect B’s quality management system and condition. A shall also guide and support B for its development of such system.
(d) Regarding quality of products supplied by B, B shall be bound to compensate for A’s loss arising from the following reasons. The term for which B is bound to such compensation shall be sixteen (16) months (or ____months) from the final delivery of the products supplied by B. (However, if claims are incurred after FIELD shipment of the products and B is found to be responsible for such event through cooperative assessment of causes and review of the defect cause, B shall fully comply with A’s decision.)
(i) A’s loss during production process caused by a defect in parts supplied by B or loss arising from defectiveness in the completed product.
(ii) A's loss cause by subcontractor of B in relations to this Agreement
(e) B shall, in principle, provide World Wide Warranty for the products it supplies to A. However, the conditions of the warranty may be changed through mutual discussions. (A subject of discussion: )
3. Executable Terms for Quality Guarantee.
(a) B shall assign quality manager(s) and shipment inspector(s), and notify a list of their names to A. Quality manager(s) and shipment inspector(s) included in the said list shall represent B for the business operation under this Agreement between B and A.
(b) In the event of amendment of condition in (1), B shall immediately notify A of such event.
