Anna Frandsen is by nature a translator. An American citizen with Spanish residency, her translating practice represents her wide-ranging experiences globally, and her successes at bridging language, cultural, and professional divides between companies and clients, organizations and constituents, and between individuals. Anna translates for a range of clients, including the Global Fund, the Government of Andalusia, various leading pharmaceutical companies and many of the most important Spanish universities and hospitals. She is a professional language coach to select medical professionals, professors, and executives seeking higher-level language skills. With over 30 regular clients, Anna blends technical expertise with her professional experiences to help translate both words and ideas with the highest level of clarity, professionalism, and impact.
Natively fluent in English, Anna also flawlessly works in Spanish, and Portuguese. She has a Master's Degree in Nursing Research from the University of Cadiz, a Nursing Degree from the University of Cadiz, Masters Degree coursework from UCLA in Latin American Studies, a double BA with honors from the University of Washington, and various technical certificates for translating and communication. She is currently in the research phase of her Doctorate Degree at the University of Cadiz. She has traveled the world professionally and has conducted extensive ethnographic studies on various populations in Latin America.
Anna lives with her husband and daughter on the coast in Cadiz, Spain. Anna enjoys global travel, is an avid runner, a registered nurse, and spends the few off-times maintaining a global network of friends, family, and colleagues.
