With the timing belt removed, avoid turning the camshaft or crankshaft. If movement is necessary, exercise extreme caution to avoid valve damage caused by piston contact.
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the wheel well splash shield, then the A/C Compressor adjust pulley with bracket and the A/C belt, if equipped.
3. Remove the side bracket, then the alternator and belt.
4. Remove the engine support bolts and nut, then the side mount rubber.
5. Remove the valve cover, then the crankshaft pulley, Fig. 1.
6. Remove the timing belt upper and lower covers, then loosen the timing belt tensioner bolts. Rotate the timing belt tensioner until tension is released from the timing belt. Temporarily tighten the timing belt tensioner in this position.
7. Ensure that the No. 1 piston is at Top Dead Center (TDC) on the compression stroke and the camshaft gear is aligned as shown in Fig. 2.
8. Remove the timing belt.
9. Install the timing belt, then loosen the timing belt tensioner bolts. The tensioner will rotate applying tension to the timing belt. Leave timing belt tensioner bolts loose.
10. Adjust tension of the timing belt as follows:
a. Temporarily install the crankshaft pulley and bolt. Torque the pulley bolt to 61 ft. lbs.
b. Rotate the crankshaft counter-clockwise approximately ¼ turn to create
tension on the timing belt, then torque the timing belt tensioner bolts to 32 ft. lbs.
11. Remove the crankshaft pulley, then install the upper and lower timing belt covers. Torque the timing belt cover bolts to 7 ft. lbs.
12. Install the crankshaft pulley and bolt. Torque the pulley bolt to 61 ft. lbs.
13. Install the valve cover. Torque the nuts to 7 ft. lbs.
14. Install the engine support bolts and nut. Torque the bolts and nut to 40 ft. lbs.
15. Install the alternator and belt. Torque the through bolt to 33 ft. lbs. and the adjust bolt to 17 ft. lbs. Refer to page 372 for proper belt tension.
16. Install the side bracket. Torque the bolts to 33 ft. lbs.
17. Install the A/C compressor belt and the A/C compressor adjust pulley with bracket, then torque the A/C compressor adjust pulley bolts to 17 ft. lbs. Refer to page 372 for proper belt tension.
18. Install the wheel well splash shield.
19. Connect the battery ground cable.
Translation - Spanish REEMPLACE DE LA CORREA / BANDA DE TIEMPO
Removida la correa de tiempo, evite girar el árbol de levas o el cigüeñal. Si necesita moverse, ejercite cuidado extremo para evitar el daño a las válvulas causado por el contacto con los pistones.
1. Desconecte el cable de tierra de la batería.
2. Quite la cubierta guardafango, luego la polea de ajuste del compresor del aire acondicionado con su ménsula y correa, si está equipado.
3. Quite la ménsula lateral, y luego el alternador y su correa.
4. Quite los tornillos y tuerca de soporte del motor, luego el soporte lateral de goma.
5. Quite la tapa de válvulas, luego la polea del cigüeñal, Fig. 1.
6. Quite las cubiertas superiores e inferiores de la correa de tiempo, después afloje los tornillos de tensión de la correa de tiempo. Gire el tensor de la correa hasta que la tensión es liberada de la correa de tiempo. Apriete temporalmente el tensor de la correa de tiempo en ésta posición.
7. Asegúrese que el pistón Num. 1 esté en posición de compresión punto muerto superior (PMS) y el árbol de levas está alineado como se muestra en la Fig. 2.
8. Quite la correa de tiempo.
9. Instale la correa de tiempo, luego afloje los tornillos del tensor. El tensor girará aplicando tensión a la correa de tiempo. Deje flojos los tornillos del tensor de la correa de tiempo.
10. Ajuste la tensión de la correa de tiempo de la siguiente manera:
a. Instale temporalmente la polea y tornillo del cigüeñal. Apriete el tornillo de la polea a 61 libras pie.
b. Rote el cigüeñal en sentido opuesto a las manecillas del reloj aproximadamente ¼ de vuelta para crear tensión sobre la correa de tiempo, luego apriete los tornillos del tensor de la correa de tiempo a un torque de 32 libras pie.
11. Quite la polea del cigüeñal, luego instale las tapas superior e inferior de la correa de tiempo. Apriete los tornillos de la tapa de la correa de tiempo a un torque de 7 libras pie.
12. Instale la polea del cigüeñal y su tornillo. Apriete el tornillo de la polea a un torque de 61 libras pie.
13. Instale la tapa de válvulas. Apriete las tuercas a un torque de 7 libras pie.
14. Instale la tuerca y los tornillos del soporte del motor. Apriete los tornillos y la tuerca a un torque de 40 libras pie.
15. Instale el alternador y la correa. Apriete el tornillo cruzado a un torque de 33 libras pie y el tornillo de ajuste a un torque de 17 libras pie. Refiérase a la página 372 para obtener la tensión propia.
16. Instale la ménsula lateral. Apriete los tornillos a un torque de 33 libras pie.
17. Instale la correa, ajuste la polea con la ménsula del compresor del aire acondicionado, luego apriete los tornillos de la polea de ajuste del compresor del aire acondicionado a un torque de 17 libras pie. Refiérase a la página 372 para obtener la tensión propia.

I also went for about one year to the University of South Florida where I took my first English as a second language courses, as well as all TOEFL requirements and nutrition courses. I also took courses in California State University Northridge for an entire year.
