Bio
Independent native Italian translator (English into Italian) with a decade of professional experience, working in London since 1997 as a translator and web content localisation specialist.
Currently studying for the MSc in Specialised Translation - Audiovisual at UCL.
(Core Modules: Subtitling, Dubbing and Voice-Over, Accessibility to the Media (SDH Subtitling and Audio Description), Translation Technology)
I am looking for new translation, localisation or subtitling (subtitling, spotting, SDH and AD, VO and dubbing) projects based on my experience across a wide range of subject areas, with a particular specialism in web localisation. Also able to provide proofreading and terminology management.
Proficient with CAT tools such as SDL Trados Studio 2015 (certified) and Multiterm, Wordfast, MemoQ and Wincaps for subtitling and spotting.
My work is always conducted to a very high standard and with the utmost efficiency.
