As a former restoration technician, now in possession of two philology degrees extended through a postgraduate master degree in translation, I can rely both on my professional knowledge as an officially qualified stone sculptor as on my linguistic studies at the Universities of Seville and Barcelona. In 2001 I was entitled to translate the traveller's guide "La Ruta de los Nazaríes" to German by the Andalusian Tourist Office, which was my first major translation assignment as a freelancer. From January 2005 to August 2010 I have been working as a fulltime in-house translator for Kenfilt S.A., a worldwide selling manufacturer of filtration plants for the metalworking industry with head offices in Barcelona, Spain. In September 2016 I started working as an in-house translator for the software developing company McNeel Europe, Barcelona, a position I've been holding since then.
