Source text - English Cancer causes more than 8 million deaths each year, or approximately 13 percent of all deaths worldwide. Advanced or metastatic cancer is ranking second only to cardiovascular disease as an overall cause of mortality. Therefore it is crucial to continue to develop new and effective treatments and to improve the efficacy of the treatments that are already in use.
In this study we will use the well established chemotherapeutic agent bleomycin in combination with a novel technology, photochemical Internalisation (PCI), developed to improve the effect of anti-cancer therapeutics. In the study the safety and tolerability of the newly developed photosensitiser Amphinex in the treatment of cancers on the body surface will be explored.

O câncer avançado ou metastático fica atrás apenas das doenças cardiovasculares entre todas as causas de mortalidade. Por isso, é tão importante continuar o desenvolvimento de tratamentos novos e eficazes e melhorar a eficácia dos tratamentos que já são usados.

Source text - English 1. Openings in the medical LCD monitor cabinet are provided for ventilation. To prevent overheating, these openings should not be blocked or covered. If you put the medical LCD monitor in a bookcase or some other enclosed space, be sure to provide adequate ventilation.
