I am originally from Uruguay, live in the US since 2001. I hold certificates in English as a second language from Cambridge University (First Certificate- Cambridge Advance- Certificate of Proficiency). I also have a Certificate in Translation (WLS-Ireland) subject areas - marketing/ advertising/ tourism, computer, social science, legal, technical, scientific, short documents), and a Certificate in Translation (general translation) from International House-Barcelona. I am a member of the ATA, currently studying for the Diploma in Translation from the Institute of Linguists. I Have experience as an interpreter, worked in banking from 2002 to 2006 where I also served as an interpreter for clients assisting them on different matters within the financial institution. I have been doing different types of translations for a lawyer for the last 4 years, such as birth certificates, diplomas, legal documents, medical notes, etc.
