Source text - English You see for him, the badge of authority is what you wear. It is all on the outside. If you wear a collar, OK. You might be a bank robber, you might be a crook, you might be anybody, but so long as you wear a collar, that’s good enough for him. It’s exceedingly easy to get a collar. You can go down to any religious shop and pick a collar off the shelf, buy it and stick it around your neck. And for him, that’s good enough authority. So, little wonder that a bank robber will come into the bank with a collar on and so nobody suspects him. And the bank guard doesn’t watch him and then he opens his briefcase and pulls a gun out. This is known to have happened quite many times because this is the sure way to deceive human beings. Human beings look at the outside. And so if you wear a dark suit and a white collar, and I can do it one better, I can wear a purple cloth in front too, because in England, that is a sign of being a bishop. A black one is only an ordinary vicar. A purple one is a bishop. So next time I go into the shop, I might as well put on a purple one, and I suppose not only will he open the gate for me, but he might also jump to attention! Oh, how easily we are deceived because we look on the outside!

I'm a part time translator. Right now I'm doing a message translation as my main job, my current primary customer is a Christian foundation which hands me a continuous series of preaching materials. I've been in this project since 2003 and, to be honest, I have no idea about when will it be finished! We got thousands of articles to be translated with only a few translators to do the job. For the translation quality required by this foundation, they can only afford a slightly modest payment, and it makes many people would feel like the trade off is unattractive. As for me, my main concern is the continuous flow of the materials and the opportunity to learn about what my religion has to say about this life (luckily, the preaching materials contain a great quality of teaching so I decided to continue become part of their translator team as long as they want me).
But, you know, I have to make a living too. That's why I wandering around the internet, try to find some part time translation job with higher rate of payment. Since I already have a main customer, I can only offer my skill to do some small projects outside of my main job. I hope that you, if you are really interested in giving me a job, won't be dissappointed if I can only take part in a small portion of the job you offer me. But I promise to employ my highest effort in every job offered to me.
