Education and Professional Memberships

Before coming to the US I attended Media and Communication studies at the School for Education and Communication at Jönköping University in Jönköping, Sweden. I have a B.A. in Journalism from University of South Florida, USA.

I am an active member of the American Translators Association (ATA) and its Nordic Division.

Experience

I was born and raised in Sweden, and I have worked as a freelance translator part-time for many years, and on a full-time basis since 2000. Before becoming a full-time translator I mostly worked in the area of tourism, both in Sweden and the US. I stay on top of what is going on in Sweden by following the Swedish media, along with occasional visits. I am a dual citizen with both Swedish and US citizenship.
