January 2003 to present day, freelance translator: broad range of investment, banking, accounting and insurance material, working mainly from Spanish and French but occasionally Russian to English. Clients include specialist financial translation companies and direct banking clients but have also worked for the EIB and am accepted as external translator for the ECB.
September 2000 to December 2002, technical writer/translator in Luxembourg fund management industry, working mainly from French to English but also using Spanish and Russian: translating and writing macroeconomic and fund management reports for institutional investors, covering major economies and a broad range of fixed-income and equity portfolios.
June 1998 to August 2000, in-house translator for London-based financial translations company, focusing on investment research and working into English mainly from Spanish and French but occasionally from Russian.
February to June 1998, part-time freelance translator.
