Great Tool, would be really helpful to new freelancers
Review by
Gael Yvette Bilounga Mboke . This tool is really useful but I think, it does not have all the features I needed when translating.

How easy is it to learn?
I love this tool. I have been using since it came in a dongle and I could not imagine my self without it.
Review by
Karen Picolin . I find the tool reliable and my work is more consistent, more organized and I feel more confident about the quality.
Most of my clients also rely on this tool.

How easy is it to learn?
Avoid at all costs. It's worse than ever!
Review by
David Patrick . It's incredibly slow compared to previous versions and full of bugs. Newer functions slowed the work down instead of speeding it up and auto-generated suggestions were junk.

How easy is it to learn?
Don't hate it, don't love it
Review by
Becca Resnik . Steep learning curve, even just in terms of figuring out how to get files (Trados and output files, like Word) in and out. There's a lot about it that's nonintuitive, but it's not totally impossible to learn. The main thing I dislike is that it can get bogged down easily (my system is well above the requirements) and even crashes randomly, which is extremely frustrating.

How easy is it to learn?
I regret purchasing a licence
Review by
Damien Poussier . I hesitated between this and MemoQ, with which I am much more familiar. But, swayed by its frankly baffling position as market leader, I went with Trados.
I now regret that choice.
The program looks and feels like something from the '90s. Slow, unwieldy and full of various bits that seem to do little else than take up space and get in the way of your work.
I have often had to battle with it to get it to do what I want, something I've never experienced anywhere else.
In short, look for alternatives. I'm convinced they are all better.
