Hi all, Thanks to everyone whose signed up so far. In response to Neil's question, yes we could easily start a bit later. What time would suit people best?
Best regards,
Sarah | | |
Personally I can be fairly flexible about time, but starting late in the evening may cause travel problems for those coming from further away, and bars would be getting noisier. So I would have thought it would be a mistake to start any later than, say, 6 p.m. (and is even that too late for people who want to get home by train that night?) Neil doesn't actually say what time he could manage - it might be helpful if we knew that. | | | Neil Cross United Kingdom Local time: 13:56 Member (2006) Dutch to English + ...
Armorel makes a good point - the 'stylish Lace Market area' becomes considerably less stylish after about 8.00 p.m.! It's probably better if I try and re-jig my commitments rather than inconvenience everyone else... | | | Sarah Appleby (X) United Kingdom Local time: 13:56 German to English Let's stick with the same time then | Sep 4, 2007 |
Jolly good Neil, I'm sure we'll be around for a while. And yes Nottingham on a Saturday night is a little 'lively'! | |

Hi Jennifer and all,
Please do feel free to bring your husbands/wives/partners/friends/relatives (maybe not pets though, not sure on the Kean's Head policy there) - no restriction to linguists at all.

Yes 3pm it is at the Kean's Head. Andrew has also confirmed. I will get there early to try and get the nicest corner table and have some lunch I expect.
Hope to see you all there!
Sarah
