I'm not comfortable with absolutes ("the most...").
Having just had an all-clear after a CAT scan, I'd place health pretty high on the list... | | |

For work will is important because I am very sure everyone would leave me if I quit working and stay at home just reading books:q
One of the most valuable could be education I received and home/environment I was raised

Also I was re-reminded of peaceful internet environment when we experienced a huge earthquake nearby and explosion of nuclear powerplant by the sea back then, or neighbouring country threated to launch a missile/take over scattered islands.
Just a September lightning and severe thunder could stop me from turning on PC for the sake of avoiding serge!
To top of it all, honesty and integrity of everyone I work/live with is the most important in business and life.
I can not take non payment happening all the time.
---Edit---
Come to think of it no one wants my language pair if Japan had weak economy + no ability to purchase or sell products.
I really need to thank my people, too! I know it is unfair for languages with smaller number of users.
I do not want to regard my working environment as fragile rather than stable but I also have to admit I am very lucky in this situation.

I'm with neilmac on this one ... but then having a roof over my head, not having to spend my days collecting firewood, fetching water from a distant well or worrying where the next meal is coming from, living in a reasonably free, stable and secure society and not having financial worries all rate pretty highly too. Makes you realise that there are a lot of things we take for granted before even beginning to think about the rest.

I'm also with Neil on this one... Without health, all the other assets are virtually meaningless! | | |
God - state of the world - health - and then all the rest!

I wouldn't consider Love as an asset. Love goes beyond that.
However I find Knowledge an asset in terms of objectivity. | |

Should be separated, though this may be hard for some including myself to do at times. So, my answers are different.
For work - knowledge, since my customers are paying me for my skills and what I know. As for my private life - well, that's private and nobody else's business. | | |

In my private life the people I love come first, though I wouldn't call them an "assest", being much more precious to me than a mere assest.
In my buiness life it's knowledge...and good clients.
