Translation - English For several years, betabinomial distributions have been extensively used with effectiveness in media planning models. The aim of this publication is to present these distributions “intuitively” and mainly to introduce the (p,τ) (audience-dispersion) representation, which is more explicit than the classical one, using the (a, b) coefficients.
In this paper, we first introduce the betabinomials through the ballot-box paradigm. Thereafter, some classical properties of the beta and betabinomial distributions are exposed. The audience-dispersion model approach allows an easier interpretation when used in media planning.
Finally, several practical applications of this new approach are shown for the actual media planning software as well as for panel probabilizations.

Masters of Applied Science from QUT in 2000, my thesis is on the thermal degradation of polyvinyl chloride blends. Other subjects undertaken: vibrational spectroscopy, physics, mathematics, statistics, anatomy, microbiology, biochemistry. I possess a strong passion for medical and technical subjects and have translated many medical documents and papers as well as 2 books in this field and a 169-page manual on vaccines from English into Vietnamese, in which very specialised terms were employed.
From 2008 until now, I have conducted reviews, editing, post-editing of machine translation, and proofreading of English and Vietnamese documents in diverse fields.
