We're spoilt for choice these days

It's pretty fantastic that these days we have several different free apps for dictating in multiple languages, whereas only a year or two ago we were stuck with pretty much only Dragon, and only for a handful of languages (German and Spanish, and maybe one or two more).

I have this idea: I will use wildcards for the words that Whispering doesn't recognize: I will create a glossary of Dutch place names to represent these unrecognized words.
For example, I will use Cadzand for CafeTran Espresso Maker. Before I navigate to the next segment, an action linked to the Go to Next Segment macro will replace Cadzand with CafeTran Espresso.
Edit: As it turns out, a word like "Cadzand" is also difficult for Whispering. So I'll use a less "e... See more

Cool, worth a try.
Btw, you can easily teach Talon difficult words by adding them to your additional_words.csv file. Just say "Customize additional words" and the file pops open in a text editor.
I just added this line:
CafeTran Espresso Maker, cafe tran espresso maker
And now saying "cafe tran espresso maker" dictates "CafeTran Espresso Maker". Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I have added literally hundreds of words since I started using Talon.
You want to be sure that these files are backed up...
