to introduce myself, I am a student of English and American Studies at the University of Technology in Chemnitz (Germany), and I am currently conducting a survey within the limits of my bachelor thesis that I am writing in the field of translation studies. Dear translators, project managers etc.,

to introduce myself, I am a student of English and American Studies at the University of Technology in Chemnitz (Germany), and I am currently conducting a survey within the limits of my bachelor thesis that I am writing in the field of translation studies. This survey addresses all people who professionally use either SDL Trados Studio 2011, Across, Wordfast, MemoQ or XTM Cloud. Therefore, I would like to cordially ask you to participate in my survey / to share your experience on working with these translation tools.

It will not take you more than 10 min to fill out the questionnaire. The overall aim of this survey is to investigate in how far the creative energy of a translator will be influenced by technical devices designed to support and also to facilitate the translation process (CAT tools).
