Hello everybody!
I just had a look at the contact information on the profiles, and I think it would be a good idea to include the Skype username, in order to allow a fast and free voice communication between professionals.
I wish you all a great day! And thanks Proz for its beautiful website.

Henry called me on Skype about half a year ago and said he's testing this program and is considering including the Skype in the profiles.
However, as updating and replacing of Jobs' section now is nearing its completion, when that update will be finished, AFAIK, it will be Profile's turn, so I guess that's the reason it was not implemented into existing profile design.
(Please Henry correct me if I’m wrong).

Meanwhile, it is possible to get the “Skypeme” script from Skype website (you can even chose from some variety of icons there) and copy it into your profile- you have just to enter your Skypename into needed place in the script (e.g., please look at mine profile).
You can choose even from some variety of icon scripts there on Skype site.

It took me forever to choose the colour, which I'll maybe change everyday according to my clothes. I clicked on the brand new icon on my page and said: you can't skype to yourself.
I didn't know I was getting so self...employed

I've read that the beta of the new Skype version allows you to Skype yourself. However, I've found the stable version 1.3 (that I upgraded to last week) to be quite good.

Hi all,
I just updated the profile page to include a "Skype me" button if you enter a Skype username in your profile (http://www.proz.com/?sp=persedit).
Sorry! One color only!
Best Regards,
