What are the Biggest Challenges in Translation?

Translators always face challenges in their work. My question is, what is the biggest challenge you've encountered in your translation projects?
I'm interested to hear your experiences and insights on these challenges.

There are several challenges Sep 28

Translating in a very narrow area of the legal field, these are the biggest challenges I encounter:

1- very tight deadlines (receive source Friday afternoon in the US and Monday morning a suspect needs
to be arrested in Europe)

2- poorly written (spelling, logic, legal) source (wrongly written statutes, wrong dates)

3- crazy formatting (all kind of stamps and seals, all over the place, in all imaginable positions)

Considering the legal implications, the fact that these documents are transmitted through diplomatic channels, the translation must be perfect.
