Swedish term
varulager
Swedish to English
Bus/Financial
Accounting
Hello
I've just come to a series of entries in a company accounts with no context of course other than the numbers that follow
I note in particular 3 entries
Ökning/minskning *varulager*
*varulager* i procent av kortfristiga skulder
Kassalikviditet= Omsättningstillgångar exklusive *varulager* i procent av kortfristiga skulder.
Now I believe that "varulager" is stock (physical in the warehouse) and the figures are in SEK (not inventory numbers) so I was going to use "stock value"
But of course "Stock valuel" is used for the stock market and has a totally different meaning
so
1 Is varulager = the value of stock in the warehouse
2 what is the correct accounting term if the answer to 1 is 'yes'
Help, i'm going mad looking at this
Thanks

Comment: "A simple solution to avoid 'stock value' which is unfortunately ambiguous"
