Well. I want to buy standard membership. So I've loaded my PayPal account with 160 USD. But when I click PayPal button, after logging in PayPal I should enter my credit card number and CVV2 number. But I won't do this! Normally such window appears, when on PayPal account is insufficient money. But in this case I have 160 USD! I wouldn't lose this discount (ends today). Can you help me?

Raise a support ticket Sep 30, 2017

I don't know whether anyone will see it today, but a support ticket is usually the best way to address these one-off problems. There are various buttons around the site to do that, or click on the question mark at the top-right to visit the support centre and do it from there.

If your balance is sufficient your card will not be charged Sep 30, 2017

Hi Kamil,

My understanding is that, at least for the moment, PayPal requires an associated card or account when signing on to a subscription (which is what the membership discount is on). This does not mean your credit card will be charged if you have a PayPal balance, however; it is designed to cover charges in the event your balance is insufficient. I have replied to your support request with further instructions that may be of help.

Jared

Basically, the stronger and more complete your profile is, the better chance at good client contact you have.

And there are also a lot of good resources in the site guidance center, focused on building your online presence: https://www.proz.com/guidance-center

I hope those help!

I have the same problem when trying to pay with PayPal Nov 1, 2018

I am trying to renew my membership and want to pay with PayPal. But when I click on PayPal to continue the payment it asks me to enter a credit card number. However, I don't want to use a credit card and want to use some of my PayPal funds.

I've been a member since 2012 and I've never had this problem before.

What's going on with this?
