Se alguém souber a designação deste objecto muito agradecia que a partilhasse comigo, porque já esgotei todas as possibilidades. Suponho que "stent" seja cateter, mas mais do que isso não consegui.

In Portuguese, the word stent is commonly used by the medical community (it is also possible to use "prótese endoluminal", "prótese endovascular", but not in this case, e.g, coronary stents).
This stent is made of silicone, not only coated with silicone, and it has one coil in each end - one to be placed in the kidney (basnet) and the other one in the bladder, to prevent the stent migration. (please see picture on the first link provided below).

As you can see, "Figure Four" is apparently part of the name of the product because it is available in "Fr sizes: 4,6,7,8"
In Brazil the term "stent" is used, but in Portugal "prótese (endovascular)" might be more used (perhaps in cardiology).
Rigorously, stent isn't a catheter because the latter assists in the placement of the former, that is, the catheter envolves the guidewire and is inserted to place the stent in endovascular surgery. But they are used interchangeably.
