Обычно названия режимов записи Video и VR оставляют на английском языке. Вместо Video иногда пишут "режим видео", а вместо VR - "режим видеозаписи", хотя, IMHO, это не совсем корректно, поскольку оба режима - режимы видеозаписи, но в разных форматах.

Since the data recorded to a disc in the "VR mode" cannot be played back with general DVD players, however, it should be saved in the "Video mode"
