"Vorschaltmaske" seems not a very common term for this, maybe "vorgestellte Eingabemaske" is what they are trying to say. I would leave off the "sogenannte" and just say "The preceding input mask requires certain data to be entered which...". If you do want to give it a "so-called" name, maybe "pre-connected input mask" would be an option (although I can't support this suggestion with any references). I found one PDF (below) in which "preceding input mask" was used in a similar context.
