Hello, I cannot find this term and don't know what it refers to. Does anybody know please? Here is the sentence: "Le istruzioni prevederanno le procedure operative di avviamento, di fermata così come i moduli e le schede operative relativi alle apparecchiature." Thanks for your help.

operating instruction cards
reading through the Italian it is quite garbled. Breaking it down: the instructions shall envisage/provide the start-up and shut-down procedures in the same way as the equipment "modules and operating instruction cards". It does not make sense.
Note from asker:
You are right, the Italian is pretty bad, and I am editing another translator's work, which unfortunately is absolutely appalling. My client assured me this was a reliable translator!! Many thanks for the explanation. |

operating cards
The "instructions" include the operating procedures for starting and stopping, and also the modules and operating cards for operating the equipment.
(Evidently the equipment is numerically controlled machine tools or the like, which is programmed and undergoes task changes with "modules" and "cards". The "cards" are electronic cards such as flash memory cards.)
