certifying the documents with the apostille

Apostille is the recognition of the local notary's seal and signature by the Department of Justice or sometimes by the Consular Department of the country the notary resides in. These departments are supposed to have the sample of any notary's seal and signature, as well as be aware of his/her commission expiry date. It was introduced by the decision of the International Convention in Hague (1967, if I am not mistaken) and is required to verify the validity of the notary certification. You may play with the rest of the words, but leave "apostille" as is.
Good luck,

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks Marina; I tend to agree that Apostille should be left as is since, as it is a borrowing in the Russian it should be likewise in the translation. "
