Last year I completed my Masters in Translation and Computer-Assisted Translation Tools at Heriot Watt University. My dissertation by translation and commentary was entitled "Translation Strategies for Minority Languages: The Case of Galician".

Over the past year I have translated software, social networking and oenology websites, historical documents, economic reports, journalistic texts and commercial material.

Prior to this I have completed translations in other areas such as a Spanish-English translation on the topic of “Mexican Constitution and Congress: Pronunciamiento of Dec 6th 1844”, published in 2009 by Professor Will Fowler, Nebraska Press.

I also have experience of academic proofreading and editing.

I am a volunteer for the Ashoka organization as a Spanish translator/interpreter, where my contribution works towards aiding the development of social entrepreneurship in Latin America in particular.
