I have 20 years of experience of translating and interpreting within the field of international development / international policy. Much of that experience was gained through 15 years of trilingual (English/Spanish/French) experience in senior management in the international NGO sector, and through ongoing freelance consultancy work related to HIV, gender, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and violence against women. I have an in-depth understanding of the UN system, the Sustainable Development Goals, and the international policy field, particularly relating to health, human rights and social development. I have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Health (dissertation pending to upgrade this to an MPH). 

I also have a BA in French and Spanish, an MA in Hispanic Studies, and a Diploma in Translation (UK Institute of Linguists). I have lived and worked in Spain and Latin America.
