Dear all,
Sorry to disturb you.
I've received from an US agency during last night a file to proofread (and deliver in 3 hours) ending by ".itd". What is it ? How to open it ? I asked some colleagues owning Trados or WordFast : nobody knows !
Let me add that I have no CAT at all and still work with Windows 98 SE (The new computer and Word will be available to me only at the begining of July).
Because it's 4:00 in New York, I can't get any help from the agency.

Can someone help me ?

bonne chance | | |

Thank you so much, dear Cynthia.
One of my colleagues who has Trados is trying to open it for me (in Word or Office Open).
That's very nice of you.
Have a nice day

Merci beau coup, cher Albert.

Thanks a lot. Finally, the client had a correspondent in Hong Kong - so, who was awake while it was the night in New Yorl - who converted it in Word for me.
Though, I have downloaded SDLX Lite. It may be useful.
I saw that it is a demo.
Do you know if SDLX Lite has a limit (in time or quantities of segments) of use, after free downloadinf ?

SDLX Lite is useful to translate .itd files. This means if you get any .itd files from client, you can work with SDLX lite. But the client who transformed the word document into .itd file, must have Standard SDLX Edit which is not free.
From SDLX Lite you can translate the document and see the original getup from "Create translation". But other features are not available.
