This place looks interesting to me. What do the other colleagues think?
Eva Ballentine (X) Hungarian to English + ... Bojana, can you come onboard, please. | Jan 13, 2006 |
I certainly vote for a Toronto location, and I like the idea of the Boiler House. At the same time I would like to ask Bojana to finally provide us with some directions. Is there any agenda? Is the location Oakville or Toronto?
Time and date please! I just got back from working abroad for a month. Thanks and best wishes for the New Yar to all of you!
The Boiler house offers brunch
on Saturdays from 11 to 3
But we need to decide and make an reservation

The Boiler room sounds great, but I am thinking whether it would suitable to conduct a conversation among 11 or so people or we are going to rub shoulders with other patrons..perhaps Bojana can find out if there a space which would suit our purpose, other than that I am in. P.C.

They can set up a "private" section for us. I will phone them before noon today. It would be nice to know who is coming for sure (of course emergencies can happen).
There are 9 YES on the above window and 11 MAYBE. There is a big differnce between making a reservation for nine or twenty. LOL

I support Christine, the boiler house is nothing so exciting, a walking distance from Union Station is the right choice, I vote for the place (Old Spaghetti).

Spaghetti Factory
Obviously it depends on the number of people the space we would get. It is very loud and busy at lunch time. More people will attend, more likely we will be seated in the busiest section.
Appetizers $4 - $7.50
Soups $4
Entrees (includes soup) $10 - $18

Kindly put the restaurant's name you prefer in the Note of your post.
other choices | Jan 13, 2006 |
I am sure there are other options close to Union station if Spaghetti Factory is too busy. My point was to select a place that is as accessible as possible for everyone. Any bus, subway and GO train arrives at Union.
organisers responsibility | Jan 13, 2006 |
I would think that it is the organiser´s responsibility to put forth a few suggestions, after all she is the one collecting the points for this event!
