I haven't bought any books for myself per se since then, although I did buy a Bob Dylan biography at Christmas for a friend who is a big fan.
I don't usually have a lot of time to read for leisure purposes, as I'm reading work-related texts all day, although I usually have a quick perusal of the newspapers online as well.
I’m a bibliophile. The last books I bought were all for leisure: “The Strange Order of Things“, by Antonio Damasio (a Portuguese-American neuroscientist), “White People Can Dance Too” by Kalaf Epalanga (a writer and musician who was born in Angola and lives and works between Lisbon and Berlin) and “Chanson Douce” by Leïla Slimani (she is a French-Moroccan writer, winner of the Goncourt Prize).

I just got back from the UK this morning. While there I raided the Oxfam bookshop and came home with a pile of stuff that should keep me going for a while.
And I've just ordered another free e-book, I have a load of them too.
It's a shame I have to spend time working instead of reading ....

I was an in-house revisor-proofreader for years, so to relax after work, I did anything but reading. And I used to read A LOT! Now, I look at my unread books, and think sometimes I should give them a try.

The last one was for work, but that rarely happens nowadays. I usually buy books for pleasure. Whether I manage to read them is a different thing altogether

I use no books to work. I used to back until the 90's. Nowadays, reference books are always outdated. One week after their launching, they are already outdated.
