I've had three translations totaling 33,000 words. One was a breeze, another was typical, and the third one has been driving me crazy.
My highest turnover ever, and the month isn't over yet
I've invoiced just over 92,000 words so far. Not a record but a busy month. It's a good time of year for business with many colleagues on leave. I live in Algarve and avoid the coast in July and August. I can rather enjoy it the rest of the year, when it's cooler and much quieter.

I'm not sure if it's connected to the heatwave we've had over here in Western Europe, but there have been stretches of multiple days with absolutely zero work (perfect time to go and have an ice cream!), followed by stretches where I've worked until the wee hours (certainly not my preferred tactic, but make hay when the sun shines, and all that!).
