Same clients, the only difference being that some of the texts (investor advisory, safety at work) are covid-19 related.

I wasn't sure whether to answer yes or no.
I just recently received work from 2 clients who I hadn't heard from in 5 years. They're the type of client who tend to offer very sporadic, one-off projects.
The projects they've offered me are different from what I do regularly, so it seems that the emphasis of my work has changed, although I don't think it really has.

Yes - for the better. As a result of my stronger focus now on academic/literary texts, I'm beginning to get more of the translation jobs that most interest me: thoughtful in-depth critical writing, to a very high standard, in my specialist fields and in other related fields (architecture, cities, landscape, territorial planning, etc.) I hope this develops.

I think it almost goes without saying that there has been a marked uptick in the amount of work related to Covid-19 that's swimming about, but I've noticed other changes in the type of work, too: I've found that most of my regular clients are using the time for having internal, rather than external, documentation translated. Since February 90% of my work has been Covid related.

But as opposed to many here, it seems. I have not yet translated anything directly related to the corona virus.

As I mentioned in a previous post, apart from one small translation of tips for people new to working from home, the type of jobs I'm getting are pretty much the same. I was expecting a slow month, but I got a 2K translation this morning from my best client, and I have a few revision/proofing jobs to keep me busy as well, at least until well into next week.

At the moment my most frequent employer is an agency that specializes in subtitling for short videos on various educational topics. I'd say the volume of work I'm getting right now is about the same, only the topics of the videos are mostly related to Covid-19 in one way or another - how to exercise from home, how to properly wash your hands to avoid spreading infections, how to be efficient if you're working from home, and so on.

Very little work here at the moment, only a couple of revisions, both already delivered.
And from the usual customers, usual topics.
We are taking advantage of the lull to get some spring cleaning done.
We'd like to do some painting, but can't go to the DIY shop for supplies.
