2) štrukturálna nezamestnanosť - vzniká v dôsledku zmien v štruktúre ekonomiky - technologický pokrok donútil zrušiť niektoré povolanie
3) cyklická nezamestnanosť - vzniká v súvislosti so vznikom recesie (deflačnej medzery); znižovanie objemu produkcie =>— zamestnanosti
4) sezónna nezamestnanosť - zodpovedá činnostiam s čiste sezónnym, turistickým charakterom
5) donútená nezamestnanosť - vyvolaná zákonmi a vládnou politikou
6) zastretá nezamestnanosť - v nerozvinutých krajinách, kde práceschopné obyvateľstvo nenachádza prácu, lebo ju nik neponúka
