I rest my case.
A second-class citizen?
I am not an advocate of the Premium subscription model, but I see it as a common business model. So why should I feel "unter-" or "second-class" for not being among the Premium subscribers? If I knew it provided high added value I would probably subscribe - I'm just not convinced it does (yet)... And ProZ is doing nothing to seriously convince me.

After some time 'away', let me resurrect this thread to reiterate that, as ProZ paying members, we ought to be able to select our opt-out choices on the website.
Recently, a new Featured-freelancer-website section was introduced, with pride of place at the top of the homepage, to highlight professionals with a Premium subscription.
However, since its inception, there are ONLY SIX of them popping up as in a loop, on a daily basis.

Because I am still not interested in the Premium subscription and in anything Premium-related, I am asking you again to please add the opt-out option for those to the Homepage forum dashboard.
So, staff, please don't say that those areas are 'fixed' and 'that forum display and categories won't be changed', as of course they can, if you would be so inclined!
I am sure the ProZ website manager/designer could take care of the above in a jiffy, just as they did when you decided to add the (Premium) Member-only and Restricted-access forum options. As well as the Featured freelancer website section.
