Není to idiom, ale nenašla jsem vhodnější škatulku.
Ztratila jsem se v tom, jak to vyjadřit, zkoušim zleva zprava a nic se mi nelíbí.

Googling for "tens of millions of" yields 3.4 million hits:

http://www.google.sk/search?q="tens of millions of"&ie=utf-8...

Sounds awkward, kinda, but it's what we do.
Note from asker:
Tímto směrem jsem šla také, ale nezdá se mi tam to ....of .....of....

agree Martin Janda : If asked directly,I'd say 'tens' is non-English, but Google proves Mike is right: 4mln vs. 40k
12 mins
agree Jana Bedanova : stejne jako ja, Martine, otazka je, na kolik je Google verohodny a na kolik se opakuji stejne odkazy z jednoho zdroje, bylo by dobre, kdyby to slo na Google nejak vyselektovat

agree Jennifer Taylor : Yes, at least in the UK, we say tens not dozens in this case. I'm not sure where dozens stops and tens begins though!
2 hrs
agree Martha Sullivan : Mike's right in that it sounds awkward and that it is what we'd say...if we HAD to. Depending on the nature of the text, for example if it's literary rather than technical or financial, I might use the phrase “many, many millions of crowns” or...argh!

agree Jim Tucker (X) : "Tens" is absolutely fine. One would not likely use "dozens" in this kind of context. (Consider omitting the "many" though, as it is probably superfluous.) The "of....of" is also fine.)

disagree Martha Sullivan : For the non-native speakers here who thought of and/or liked using “dozens of” in this case – good instinct, as we do tend to use that where you use “desitky”. The problem is, that doesn’t apply to numbers, just things and people 

thank you for advice, I am one of those who like using "dozens", such as: http://www.faqs.org/abstracts/Business/Cechofracht-will-spen... , http://www.wseinternational.eu/pub/spolki_
neutral Jim Tucker (X) : (Your first link to Martha is a translation from CZ.)

of..of je urcite v poradku.

Ja jsem v podstate nikdy neslysela "many tens of millions" a zni to mym usim neladne (puvodne jsem si myslela, ze to je cechismus) ale fakt je, ze na Googlu je x milionu odkazu, az me to samotnou prekvapilo. Dozens se take bezne pouziva...
