Once a year - one large project

I "coordinate" a project of translation of (updates to) university course books.
Everyone who works on it is experienced, works on their own texts, in their own field and sticks to the deadlines.
I have worked on this project for many years as translator in my own specialist field.
When the previous coordinator-translator retired - I was asked to take over the coordinator tasks.
I did. And I'm still doing it many years later.

Working as translator help on being more confident and provide good work environment. I like working on team but there's something special by riding solo in a quiet place. I don't want to change it now.

I hated project management. You're a glorified letterbox and buffer between the client wanting it all yesterday and the translator wanting extra time to produce a decent job. The only nice thing was contact with translators.
