That's the idea, but it's not like that in real life.
Let me continue, ChatGPT is like her husband, a boring routine, always same, and she is sick of telling him to do things, and she is always looking for someone else who is different from her "husband" ChatGPT, but she anyways wants to keep him, because it's a sure thing, right? Plus she can teach him different things from the other guys. Well, that company is a bitch. I mean real bitch. She disses us by not providing any feedback on our applications, that's bitchy.

I don't think it's reasonable to expect potential clients to reply to every single proposal they received. If I hadn't heard anything back, I'd simply conclude that I didn't get the job and move on with my life.

I moved on with my life, I'd got rejected many many times in my life, not just for a job, but for everything.
You think isn't reasonable to reply to all proposals? How many proposals do you think they got for my language pair? What, they didn't have time?
They were busy doing what?
And what about the tests, man? They can reply to you: "I'm sorry, but you fail, but we can't tell you why, cuz we don't provide feedback." Come on...
Or when I asked after signing... See more I moved on with my life, I'd got rejected many many times in my life, not just for a job, but for everything.

Or when I asked after signing NDA and agreed about the rates: "When the test is gonna be?" I got answer: "Our team is very busy evaluating the tests, so it's gonna be soon."
So, what? It's that hard to send me the test and practically put me on that list with the others for evaluation?
Nothing but a false hope and wasting time...

Seeing the number of quotes on the job board, it seems they were receiving too many.

I don't know for which companies are you talking about? And how much is many, by your opinion? And why they are posting the same job again if they had many applications?
And after all, there are automatized replies on emails, but they don't even bother to do that. | | | Novian Cahyadi Indonesia Local time: 17:19 Member (Apr 2024) English to Indonesian TOPIC STARTER

It's not rare to see outsourcers posting a job offer for multiple language pairs. For mine alone, the number of quotes can sometimes hit 20 or more.
And why they are posting the same job again if they had many applications?
See page 1.
And after all, there are automatized replies on emails, but they don't even bother to do that.
What? Something like this?
Thank you for your application. We are currently reviewing it. If your profile matches our requirement, we will contact you shortly.
How is that any better?

So you don't think it's reasonable for them to reply on every application, but it's reasonable for you to answer on every question asked by me?
So what are you saying, that they don't even bother to read our emails? Or give us the test after signing the NDA and agreeing about the rates?
And for multilingual projects, they have different projects managers for every language, plus they have hiring staff. So 20 applications per language aren't many, my friend.
So don't be stuck in that bureaucratic crap, man.

Probably because I kept receiving email notifications telling me a new post has been made on my thread. And it's not possible to turn it off! 👿

Sure. Whatever floats your boat, buddy.

Well, there are companies out there with headquarters worldwide and many project managers and hiring staff. The problem probably is that our emails for job applications are perceived like spam by most of them.
So they are like celebrities, they don't have to read our emails or return to our applications. | | | Pages in topic: < [1 2] | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Why do some outsourcers keep posting the same job?
