I have a Russian letter in Latin characters to translate.
I think this word is probably держит, but even if it is, I'm not quite sure of the meaning.
Xxxxxx uge vsroslaja, skasat "dersit"-ne skasat nichego!

Note from asker:
Thank you. I actually used "she is cheeky", and this is the closest to that. |

she is being rude
Basically, in English it is "she is being rude".

Michael Korovkin
: derzost' is exactly rudeness – not cheekiness or imudence. I don't understand why they put "agrees" to those – a clear case of truth being murdered in discussion?

Thank you Michael! People do tend to follow others...

Eric Candle
: "дерзить" - как правило - предполагает "в ответ на замечание"; есть определённое различие между "being rude" и "дерзить"

No, Eric, you probably mean "огрызаться", which is supposed to be "in response". "Дерзить" does not necessarily mean it. "Дерзить" means "to talk in a disrespectful, rude way".
